Trip to St.Petersburg inline marathon

I'll start this post by saying that I'm sorry for the delay in my weekly post, I'm having some issue with the blogger photo update page.
I was told that St.Petersburg is a lovely city, but now I can say that it's very true.
I must start by saying thanks to the great and awesome Ludmila from the marathon organizers that did such a great job with helping me to travel and join the event, without her there was no Chance I could of done something or getting to the marathon and back so safely and with a great feeling.
Since I took more than 200 photos, the full album can be viewed on my Facebook page in this link :
At the last Friday night evening I started a very long trip (800+km) to St.Petersburg, the trip started with a 3 hours train from my city Kolomna to Moscow.
The train was old and dirty, and on the night train there were a few drunk people and some bbeggars, asking for money.
The train is really clean eh ?
Once I reached Moscow, I ran to the other station to St.Petersburg way,
This time the train was way more normal and Moscow train station was full with police officers so I felt a lot more safe.
After a 12 hours ride on this train + 3 more on the Kolomna one, I FINALLY reached St.Petersburg.
A local speedskater was waiting to pick me up, and she was so lovely for all her help :)

After that I went into the underground metro trains, to reach my destiny, the marathon reg place.

Than it started - the beauty of St.Petersburg ! and damn it's pretty !

I reached the marathon expo, it was only with runners stuff, so that was a little disappointing.

"Ergo White-Night" Expo
I got my number "128" for the marathon, and than I had few hours to travel the city.

I was guested and joined by 4 Moscow skaters, wonderful people who did this trip a lot more than what it was planed, together we ate the official pasta and traveled the city together.

Traveling the city, I love this photo

After a good sleep we woke up to a lovely day for the marathon, with a little risk for rain (that came after the marathon).
I will finish the work on my marathon photos, and than I'll post in the coming days the marathon story with photos, and a video later on.
